<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing snow-accretion on wires, wherein even a huge snow-accretion can be prevented effectively from growing rotatably around a wire for making intact the good executable quality and the wind sound preventing effect of a spiral rod. SOLUTION: In a spiral rod 1 wound around a wire, a normally wound portion 2 for gripping all portions on the periphery of the wire and loosely wound portions 3, 3' to wind loosely the one portion or whole thereof around the wire are formed alternately in the longitudinal direction of the wire. The loosely wound portions 3, 3' are made eccentric with float partly the spiral rod 1, and the eccentric directions of the adjacent eccentric portions to each other via the normally wound portion 2 may be made shifted from each other, and furthermore, the most effective shift between the eccentric directions is 180 deg.. When the distances between the loosely wound portions 3, 3' and the normally wound portion 2, the outer diameter of the spiral rod 1, and the eccentric amounts and directions of the loosely wound portions 3, 3' are set in response to a snow fall maximum strength, a snow-accretion preventing method to wires enables coping with snow accretion by each district.</p> |
