PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer reducing cracks on a closed magnetic circuit magnetic core by releasing stresses to the magnetic core in thermal shock, without injecting adhesive into a through-hole. SOLUTION: This transformer is provided with a coil frame 24 made of phenol system materials, provided with an upper edge flange 21 and a lower edge flange 22 and a through-hole 23 in the vertical direction, plural terminals 25 set at the lower edge flange 22, first and second coils connected with those terminal 25 and wound around the coil frame 24, and closed magnetic circuit magnetic core 28 the center leg 26 of which is inserted into the through-hole 23 and whose upper outer leg 27 is placed on the upper edge flange 21 of the coil frame 24. The upper edge flange 21 of the coil frame 24 is provided with plural projecting parts 34 which are arrayed in staggered manner lattices, and an outer peripheral wall 35 is formed on the outer periphery of the through-hole 23.
