PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce trouble at the time of inserting paper money and to facilitate a paper money insertion operation in the insertion port mechanism of a paper money identifying machine provided with a flapper, which is loaded on an automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: When a flapper 2 is pushed into an inner side where a paper money insertion port 7 exists by one hand at the time of inserting paper money, the flapper 2 rotates inside with a hinge as a shaft 6. Then, paper money is inserted with the flapper as a guide. When the hand is returned after insertion, the flapper 2 is restored by a restoration spring 8, it is stopped by a stopper 9 and is held in a position blocking the paper money insertion port. Thus, a conventional trouble that the flapper is held by one hand and paper money is inserted by the other hand is reduced and paper money can easily be inserted. Thus, the customer collection force of the automatic vending machine can be improved.
