PURPOSE:To obtain a genetic engineering method for producing a new DNA polymerase by specifying a new DNA polymerase gene and using the resultant gene. CONSTITUTION:The objective DNA polymerase gene is isolated from a plasmid pUIF101. Furthermore, the objective method for producing a DNA polymerase is to culture a transformant transformed with a plasmid containing the gene integrated thereinto and collect the DNA polymerase from the obtained culture. This DNA polymerase is useful as a reagent for genetic engineering research. |
