<p>PURPOSE:To carry out high frequency induction heating uniformly on the surface of a metallic ball such as a steel ball. CONSTITUTION:A metallic ball such as a steel ball 1 is preheated in the central part of a spiral shape high frequency induction heating coil 8 arranged on the outer periphery of a metallic cylindrical body 7 where plural slits 6 are formed so as to extend in a radiate shape in a radial direction. Next, this metallic ball is moved upward, and is put in a levitating condition by means of electromagnetic force, and high frequency induction heating is carried out in a condition where rotation is generated with the horizontal axis as its center, so that the surface of the metallic ball can be heated uniformly.</p> |
