<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the connection less communication system in the ATM network in which a storage area in a sever is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A connection less information cell processing/decoding section 11 divides a message into plural ATM cells, adds a same message identifier MID to each cell, adds a BOM to a first cell of the divided message, an EOM to a last cell and a COM to a cell on the way and inputs the result to a server 12. Upon the receipt of a BOM cell, a MID.SMID conversion section 21 of the server 12 converts the MID of the cell into an SMID not in use to store tentatively its cross reference, a message processing section 22 retrieves routing information in the ATM network 13 from a destination address DA included in the BOM cell and stores the information corresponding to the SMID. Upon the receipt of the COM cell or the EOM cell, the server 12 uses the cross reference between the MIS and the SMID to convert the MID of the cell into the SMID and obtains the routing information in response to the obtained SMID from the cross reference between the SMID and the routing information.</p> |
