PURPOSE:To obtain the musical performance sense approximate to an actual stringed instrument by using not only a keyboard but also a musical performance operating piece which can execute an operation approximate to a motion of a bow of a stringed instrument, as an input device for controlling a musical tone parameter of an electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:As for an input operation of a musical tone control parameter of a sound source, a key code is inputted by a keyboard 33, and parameters corresponding to bow pressure, a bow position and a bow speed are inputted by a bar-like musical performance operating piece 30 for executing an operation being approximate to a bow. A tip gripping part 4 of the bar-like operating piece 30 is rotatable against an operating piece supporting part, and also, movable in the axial direction, and the supporting part supports the operating piece 30 so as to be freely rotatable against a musical instrument body, therefore, the operating piece 30 can execute an operation approximate to a bow. A rotation around an axis, a movement in the axial direction, and grip pressure of the operating piece 30 are detected, respectively, and inputted to the sound source as musical tone control parameters after the arithmetic processing. Also, an angle in the horizontal surface and an angle in the vertical surface of the operating piece 30 are detected and inputted to the sound source 35 as musical tone control parameters after the arithmetic processing. In such a way, an electronic sound corresponding to a string touched state of a stringed instrument can be generated. |
