PURPOSE:To obtain the subject molded product, good in properties of preventing hydrocarbons from permeating and mechanical strength and useful as automotive gasoline tanks by using polyethylene having a specific composition as the polyethylene constructing a continuous phase. CONSTITUTION:The objective molded product comprises (A) polyethylene composed of 55-95wt.% polyethylene having 0.01-0.5g/10min melt flow rate(MFR) and 45-5wt.% polyethylene having 5-100g/10min MFR, (B) a polyamide and (C) an alkylcarboxyl-substituted polyolefin. The component (A) is present as a continuous matrix phase and the component (B) is present in the form of many thin, two-dimensional, parallel and superposed phases in the continuous matrix phase. High-density polyethylene having >=150000 weight-average molecular weight is preferred as the polyethylene having 0.01-0.5g/10min MFR. Furthermore, the components are usually blended in the following amounts: 80-98wt.% component (A), 1-10wt.% component (B) and 1-10wt.% component (C). |
