PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system radiating light toward an object to be lighted from the front side of a user's view. SOLUTION: In this system, a light guide plate 10 is made of acryl and whose an incident part 10n and an outgoing part 10s having a symmetric form are continued in one. A light source 20 is placed on the backside of the incident part 10n and an original 30 as an object to be illuminated is placed on the backside of the outgoing part 10s with the original side 31 being front. An incident first face 11n and an outgoing first face 11s are formed in a plane and a prism array is formed on an incident second face 12n and an outgoing second face 12s. The light emitted from the light source 20 is transmitted through the incident first face 11n to enter the incident part 10n and is deflected toward the outgoing part 10s at the incident second face 12n; the light is directly reaches the front side of the object to be illuminated, or is totally reflected at the incident part 10n and/or the outgoing first face 11s and/or outgoing second face 12s to reach the outgoing second face 12s, then is deflected at the outgoing second face 12s to be emitted from the outgoing first face 11s for reaching the front side of the object to be lighted. |
