<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a cable tray by connecting and fixing the bottom plates of first and second linear trays or one side plate of the first tray and the bottom plate of the second tray to each other through connecting plates having L or U-shaped cross sections. SOLUTION: A cable tray composed of linear trays having various tray widths is obtained by connecting a tray 11 with trays 12 and 13, by using connecting plates 17 formed by bending plates in U-shapes or connecting plates 18 and 19 formed by bending plates in L-shapes at the branching junctions and bending junctions between the tray 11 and trays 12 and 13. Therefore, the cost of the cable tray can be reduced and parts management and product management become easier and, accordingly, a large economic result can be obtained, because the cable tray can be formed by only using linear trays and the need of molded connecting members having special shapes can be eliminated by only setting a required tray width.</p> |
