<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer for realizing high-speed and programmable DMA(direct memory access) transfer corresponding to data formats at a transmission side and a reception side. SOLUTION: In this single-chip microcomputer, data transfer is conducted inside and outside and inside a microcomputer under the control of a DMA controller. At transfer of byte size data for a memory area being the origin of transfer, and totaling the data in a memory area being the destination of transfer, '+2' is set as an address update value in the data of the address of the transfer origin, and '+1' is set in the data of the address of the transfer destination. Thus, at the time of performing access to the leading address '1' of the transfer origin, the data of the leading address '1' are stored in the memory area corresponding to the address '1' of the destination of transfer and then access to the address of '+2' of the origin of transfer is performed automatically, and the data of the address are successively stored in the memory area, corresponding to the address of the '+1' of the designation of transfer.</p> |
