PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editing device for the multimedia information in order to attain the sharing of materials and also to reduce the disk capacity. SOLUTION: A title information editing device produces the scenario of the multimedia information by means of the materials, such as moving images, still images and text. Then a material scenario which is linked to an entity file of a single type of material is generated for each of materials and managed in common with the scenario of the title information. Thus, plural scenarios can use the materials in common via the material scenarios.
