A toilet seat and toilet lid combination is provided with a canister (25) containing disinfectant which is connected to a conduit (13) incorporating a valve (15) which is opened to supply disinfectant to outlets (14) communicating with a space between the toilet seat and the toilet lid as the lid is opened and closed. Thus, whenever the lid is opened and closed disinfectant is applied to the toilet seat. |
