The invention relates to a rotating tool comprising a base body (10) having an inner radially central part (14) in relation to the axis of rotation (11) and at least one cantilever part (20) whose root (16) is radially connected to the central part towards the outside. The front face (18) thereof protrudes axially. Said cantilever part contains at least one active area arranged at an axial distance from the root (16). In order to avoid non-permissible deformation of the tool under the effect of the centrifugal force, the root (16) of the cantilever part (20) is connected to the central part by means of a bending area (26) and supports a compensating bearing (30) that is oriented towards the other front face (28). A peripheral ring is provided as an alternative. Said ring has a variable mass distribution and can be elastically deformed under the effect of the centrifugal force. |
