The cleaner (10) comprises a metal brush which is enclosed in a tubular woven fabric sheath. The bristles of the brush extend through the wall of the sheath and clean the inside of the barrel as they are pulled through it. The tubular sheath also includes one or more foam inserts. These create a bulge in the surface of the sheath which removes debris from the barrel and can be used to spread cleaning solvent and gun oil on the inner surfaces of the barrel. |
