FIELD: microscopic investigations. SUBSTANCE: proposed gear has body with rotary aid placed inside. Punched containers for cassettes with histological samples are put on rotation axis of this aid. Gear includes aid for rotation of axis with variable speed, vessels for treating and impregnating liquids located outside of body and branch pipes to supply and remove specified liquids from body. Rotation axis is located in body horizontally. Containers for cassettes are tied together in the form of ring which inner diameter amounts to 2-4 widths of cassette for histological samples. Ring of containers is put on rotation axis in vertical plane. EFFECT: gear enables histological samples to be treated and impregnated with high efficiency and productivity. 1 cl, 2 dwg
