FIELD: mechanical engineering; consumable electrode arc welding. SUBSTANCE: clamp 9 is made with chamfered part and side inclined clamping plane directed to electrode 7. Through cutout 14 is made in bed 2 with sizes providing arrangement of chamfered part of clamp 9 in cutout 14 when electrode 7 of maximum diameter is secured in groove arranged in bed 2 so that bisectrix of angle of its inclined planes is tilted to plane of bed 2. Through slot 10 made in place of location of stops 3 and 11 provides forming of pocket 12 together with stops 3 and 11 whose section exceeds section of groove. EFFECT: provision of reliable falling out of stub of electrode when fitting in new electrode, decreased influence of spring quality onto fastening of electrode. 5 dwg
