FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal-combustion engines with double- pipe exhaust manifold. SUBSTANCE: exhaust system has expansion chamber formed by two perforated pipes connected to exhaust manifold pipes and to outlet line and placed in elongated flat case whose walls are covered inside with two layers of porous noise-absorbing sheet material and gauze screen. Inner space between perforated pipes is filled with soft noise-absorbing fibrous material; hole diameter in perforated pipes monotonously increases and pitch monotonously decreases from expansion chamber inlet towards outlet.
