SOLUTION: This peg to be used for extending a tent is provided with a cord body locking part 2 in the upper part of the peg body 1 for locking the cord body such as a rope or wire to be continuously connected at a prescribed angle to the peg body 1, and a beating part 3 projected to the opposite side to the extending direction of the cord body locking part 2 is provided to the continuously connected part 8 of the cord body locking part 2 and the peg body 1.
