PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation structure for dwelling house which does not mar the beauty of the interior while putting less restrictions on arrangement of furnitures and the like. SOLUTION: With attentions paid to finishing members such as baseboards 12, ceiling cornices 14, spandrel walls 16, 50, 60, plinths 17, stair sideboards 20, 72, risers 22 and the like which are provided in extension at the inside of rooms, ventilating openings 12a, 14a, 15b, 37d and 72a are formed, being demarcated by these finishing members, or ventilating openings 17a, 20a, 22a, and 61a are formed at these finishing members. Thereby, the beauty of the interior can be prevented from being marred with incompatibleness with the interior decorations being eliminated.
