PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a CsLiB6O10(CLBO) crystal manufacturing method capable of reducing the reduction of flatness due to annealing. SOLUTION: In a CLBO crystal manufacturing method for cutting a grown CLBO crystal block so as to form an approximately final shape and polishing the cut CLBO crystal, the cut CLBO crystal is annealed before at least final polishing in a polishing process. Even when the finally polished crystal after the annealing processing is annealed again immediately before using it, the flatness of the finally polished crystal is not almost changed as shown in figures (a), (b) though parital irregularities are slightly changed. Namely when the crystal is annealed before the final polishing, the surface of the crystal can be restored to a state holding flatness by annealing it before using even if the crystal absorbs water after polishing.
