PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a person who is permitted to use camera by each camera and to enable only the users who possess permissible IDs to use the camera. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with an image memory 11, in which the ID information of the user who is permitted to use the camera is stored previously, and a CPU 12 for reading the ID information of the user when using the camera, comparing and collating the read ID information with the ID information previously stored in the memory 11, and setting the camera in a usable state only when the collated result agrees.
