PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect electric currents with accuracy, with simple constitution. SOLUTION: A transistor Q1 is connected to a power source section 1 side of a shunt resistor Rs via a resistor R1 and a transistor Q2 is connected to the load 3 side of the resistor Rs. Then transistors Q3 and Q4 are respectively connected to the transistors Q1 and Q2, and transistors Q5 and Q6 constituting a current mirror circuit are respectively connected to the transistors Q3 and Q4. The bases of the transistors Q1 and Q2 are connected to the collector of the transistor Q1, and the bases of the transistors Q3 and Q4 are connected to the collector of the transistor Q4. The characteristics of the transistors Q1-Q4 are made identical to each other and those of the transistors Q5 and Q6 are also made equal to each other. The emitter of the transistor Q5 is grounded through a resistor R2, and the voltage value at the emitter is detected by means of a voltage detecting circuit 5.
