摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in measuring the quantity of flow of a fluid and to suppress reduction in response speed. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric bimorph element 7, a charge amplifier 15, a low-pass filter 16, and a Schmidt trigger 17 detect vortexes generated in a fluid flowing through a channel by a vortex generating body and output a flow quantity pulse signal SPL with the number of pulses corresponding to the velocity of flow of the fluid to a measuring unit 18. The measuring unit 18 detects the period of the pulses constituting the flow quantity pulse signal SPL. As a means for computing the quantity of flow computes the quantity of flow of the fluid on the basis of the period of the pulses, it is possible to shorten measurement time and consequently to shorten response time. Furthermore, it is possible to perform flow measurement with high accuracy even in the case where the quantity of flow is low.
