摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion quantity varying apparatus which shortens air bleeding time in an oil path by discharging air efficiently from a nozzle together with oil without retention in the combustion quantity varying apparatus to minimize the amount of air mixed into the combustion quantity varying apparatus. SOLUTION: An oil path to an oil return path 14 and an oil quantity increase/ decrease regulating part 20 of an oil quantity regulating valve from a nozzle return part 25 of a return nozzle 13 is made without a downward gradient along the direction of the stream of oil. A feed oil converging part 7 is connected between an outgoing side part 22 of the oil quantity regulating valve and an incoming side part 8 of a pressure pump while being positioned except for a part right above and below the oil quantity regulating valve on the outgoing side thereof. The mounting position of a nozzle adapter 12 can be determined to be anywhere between the outgoing side part 10 of the pressure pump and the incoming side part 15 of the oil quantity regulating valve. Thus, mounting right below the incoming side part 15 of the oil quantity regulating valve minimizes the capacity of the oil return path 14.
