PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the temperature of superheated steam uniformly by fixing vanes for swirling steam flowing downward to the inside of an ejector in a steam pipeline and providing a cooling fluid injecting part on the inlet or outlet side of the revolving vane. SOLUTION: An ejector 4 disposed in a steam pipeline 3 having an inlet 1 and an outlet 2 is provided internally with revolving vanes 5 and provided with a cooling fluid injecting part 6. The revolving vane 5 is simply required to impart steam flowing downward from the inlet 1 with a swirl. For example, a vane revolving like an impeller or a fixed revolving vane may be employed. Steam flow is throttled through a nozzle 9 to increase the speed and sucks cooling fluid from a cooling fluid injecting section 6 in a suction chamber 10 and then pressure is recovered at a diffuser section 11. Consequently, mixing of steam and cooling fluid is accelerated and the mixture is supplied to a specified position from the outlet 2. According to the structure, the cooling fluid is mixed with steam while being dispersed uniformly over the entire steam and the temperature of steam can be reduced uniformly.
