PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a baked ridge tile useful for ventilation in one process making use of one die, to effect the execution approximately similar to that for a crown tile, easily regulate the quantity of ventilation, and to effect the ventilation more efficient with this based ridge tile than that with other roof tiles for ventilation. SOLUTION: This ridge tile comprises a hood 3 projecting from at least one side of an approximately chevron-like ridge tile body 2, a hole 7 provided in the ridge tile body 2 to communicate the hood 3 with the ridge tile body 2, and a ventilation passage D provided between the ridge tile body 2 to be communicated with the hole 7 and the hood 3. The baked ridge roof tile useful for ventilation can be manufactured in one process making use of one die. The efficiency ventilation can be realized in comparison with other roof tiles for ventilation.
