PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aroma seal that is a seal or a card with a small size and a light weight and emits aroma of, for example, lemon, peppermint and the like and can be applied to the inside of rooms or vehicles as well as to small pocket telephones and other articles such as memo pads or the like. SOLUTION: This aroma seal 1 is composed of four layers, namely, a nonwoven fabric layer 2, a waterproofing layer 3, an adhesive layer 5 and a release paper 6. The nonwoven fabric layer 2 is impregnated with a mixed liquid containing perfumes, a cellulosic higher alcohol, and a particular inorganic adsorbent in a printing manner. The waterproofing layer is made of a polyolefin laminate and laminated on the back surface of the nonwoven fabric 2 and the adhesive layer 5 is formed by coating an adhesive on the face of the waterproofing layer treated with corona discharge, and finally the release paper 6 is stuck to the adhesive layer thereby producing the objective aroma seal. In this invention, the cellulosic higher alcohol is preferably hydroxypropylcellulose and the particular inorganic adsorbent is particular diatomaceous earth.
