PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefin resin composition excellent in the balance between impact strength and stiffness by mixing and kneading (b) a specific block copolymer or its hydrogenation product with (c) an inorganic filler and mixing and kneading the resultant mixture with (a) a polyolefin resin. SOLUTION: A polypropylene resin, such as a block or random polypropylene, is preferable as ingredient (a). Ingredient (b) is a block copolymer comprising at least two polymer blocks (A) formed from a vinylaromatic compound (e.g. styrene) and at least one polymer block (B) formed from a conjugated diene (e.g. isoprene) or is a hydrogenation product thereof and has a vinylaromatic unit content of 15-45 wt.% and a number average mol.wt. of 30,000-200,000. The block copolymer can be prepared by a known anionic polymerization. Talc, etc., are used as ingredient (c). Preferably, the wt. ratio of ingredient (a)/[ingredient (b) + ingredient (c)] is (90/10)-(40/60); and that of ingredient (b)/ingredient (c), (50/50)-(80/20).
