PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fluctuation of exposed potentials between each electrophotographic cycle and to prevent occurrences of black spots and white spots and ghosts by incorporating a specified copolymer resin made from specified polycarbonate and bis-phenol A polycarbonate. SOLUTION: The surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains the copolymer resin made from one kind of polycarbonate having repeating units represented by formulae I and II and bisphenol A polycarbonate. In the formulae I and II, each of R1 and R2 is an H atom or an aliphatic or cyclic carbon or aromatic or heterocyclic group each optionally substituted, and each may combine with each other to form an optionally substituted carbon ring or hetero rings; each of R3-R10 is an H or halogen atom or an optionally substituted aliphatic or aromatic group; and (n) is an integer of 10-1000. Ar is an allylene group.
