摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a drive assembly of an organic display device which may be driven with simple constitution by providing the drive assembly of the organic EL display device which enables gradation control of a sufficiently large number of gradations and the drive assembly of the organic EL display device with which high-grade images are obtainable even when the display having many variations in light emission thresholds is driven. SOLUTION: The drive assembly of the organic EL display device arranged with organic EL elements in a matrix form is constituted as the drive assembly of the organic EL display device which executes the gradation control by varying the number of selection times of data electrodes j1 to j4 without changing the frame frequencies for driving scanning electrodes k1 to k3 among the signals to be impressed to the organic EL elements, thereby varying pulse densities. Namely, the assigning of multiple intensity levels is embodied by repeating the selection and non-selection of the data electrodes during the period when the arbitrary scanning electrodes are selected with the matrix-form display device to be linearly scanned.
