PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the safety fixture of a footstep for a manhole or the like, by which the footstep is mounted surely onto the wall of the manhole or the like while the footstep can resist usage for a prolonged term by surely fitting the leg section of the footstep easily to a mounting member buried to the wall of the manhole or the like. SOLUTION: A footstep section 2, side sections 3 and leg sections 4 are formed of mandrels 5 and synthetic resins 6 covering the mandrels 5, and synthetic resins 6a covering the mandrels for the leg sections are formed in an approximately circular cross section and molded integrally with the synthetic resins covering the side sections. A plurality of steps of fins 10 are formed on the outer circumferential surfaces of the approximately circular synthetic resins in the axis direction towards the side-section side from the leg-section side, a mounting member buried into a concrete wall is formed in an approximately hollow columnar body, and a plurality of step sections, to which each fin is retained, are formed to the interior wall of the hollow columnar body. Abutting pieces 11 capable of being abutted against a concrete wall surface are projected from the boundary sections of both side sections and both leg sections.
