PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To double the band width and to attain a high speed while maintaining the bus width and a system bus frequency as they are by comparing a data signal of two bits with a reference potential signal of three levels, encoding an outputted signal and simultaneously outputting two data signals. SOLUTION: A data driving means 100 consisting of N pieces of data drivers 21 decodes two data signals (x-1-x-n and y-1-y-n) and outputs data signals DQ of two bits, respectively. A reference potential generation means 200 generates a reference potential of three levels so as to judge the data signals DQ of two bits. A receiver means 300 consisting of N pieces of receivers 25 compares the data signals DQ of two bits transmitted by a transmission line 23 with the reference potential of three levels, encodes an outputted signal and outputs two data signals (x-1-x-n and y-1-y-n). A terminal register Rt prevents reflection of the transmitted data signals and decreases distortion of the signals.
