摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular joint assembly having a high load bearing capability and improved performance by providing two basic parts including a dual axis part bar-pin journal and an elastomer bearing socket to be eternally lubricated and sealed throughout the life. SOLUTION: A bearing socket 144 is formed of an elastomer compound such as a urethane or natural rubber compound having the appropriate physical properties. A bar-pin 142 includes a hemispherical ball or a slide surface 170 and a non-metallic low-friction bearing material coating 172. The coating 172 is applied by an economical half-precision injection method. By this method, control for an accurate tolerance and smooth surface finishing is enabled. The coating 172 prevents the relative movement from being mechanically and/or chemically generated between the front surface 170 and the coating 172. Accordingly, the slide motion is limited between the outer front surface of the coating 172 and the inner front surface 174 on the bearing socket 144 and also generated.
