PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with processes of a precise finishing for stepping an outer casing inside diameter face and a specific stage used for stepping part of the outer casing inside diameter face by providing a member connecting the outer casing to the inner casing in an annular space between the outer casing and the inner casing. SOLUTION: An outer casing 1 of a structure having no stage part with a suction port 11 and discharge port 10 formed thereon, and an inner casing 3 constituted of several steps of same-shaped stages 2 combined together in its inside are arranged. A rotary shaft 4, an impeller 5, and a diffuser 20 are attached to the inside of the inner casing 3, and a member 9 connecting the outer casing 1 to the inner casing 3 is provided in an annular space 6 between the outer casing and the inner casing 3. The member 9 can seal and divide the two chambers of a water bleeding chamber and a high-pressure discharge chamber 8.
