PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of standards required with respect to the arrangement of joining bolt holes for connected plates even though the numbers of the divided upper and lower plates to be connected are not the same at the expansion bottom portions where the diameter is enlarged at the bottom portion of the assembled vertical shaft where the bolt jointing is performed by butting the liner plates in upper, lower, right and left directions. SOLUTION: These divided type donut-shaped connecting plates for vertical shaft bottom-expansion structures are formed to a vertical shaft by jointing liner plates together with bolts, where two rows of inner and outer peripheral jointing bolt holes 2a, 2b are provided with the arrangement having the same diameter as those of the jointing bolt holes in the flange in peripheral direction of the liner plate of two kinds of sizes connected to the upper and lower portions of the expanded bottom portion, and inner peripheral or outer peripheral jointing bolts 2a, 2b have long holes in the peripheral direction.
