PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window frame having a roll screen capable of supporting the roll screen in good balance, of housing in good appearance and securing the general purpose of the window frame to a certain degree. SOLUTION: A window frame with a roll screen which houses a roll screen 2 having a screen main body 31, a take-up shaft 32 and a bottom bar 34 in the upper portion is equipped with a pair of right and left jamb 23, 23 extended upward beyond an upper frame 21, a pair of right and left guide vertical frame 5 fixed to the front face of the jamb 23 having the height almost the same as that of a jamb 23 guiding the up and down movement of the bottom bar 34, and masking plates 7 covering between upper ends of a pair of jambs 23, between the upper ends of a pair of guide jambs 5, and between the front ends of the upper portion, and the take-up shaft 32 is housed in a housing space 6 surrounded by the upper frame 21, a pair of jambs 23, 23, a pair of guide jambs 5, 5 and the masking plate 7.
