PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress stripe-like drying irregularities caused by squeezing irregularity. SOLUTION: Air blow-off heads 14 and 15 are arranged under squeeze rollers 22 and 23. By blowing off air from an air blow-off port 16, washing liquid attached to a photographic film 8 is uniformly distributed and reduced. Thereafter, the washing liquid is squeezed by the rollers 22 and 23. Since the washing liquid is squeezed by the roller 22 and 23 after it is previously uniformly distributed and reduced by pre-processing that the air is blown off, the squeezing irregularity is eliminated. Thus, the stripe-like drying irregularities caused by the squeezing irregularity are suppressed.
