PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle holder from which the conventional defect is eliminated that the whole view soon becomes difficult in the case where a very largely different kinds of colored yarns are employed. SOLUTION: This needle holder 1 comprises one or more needle-holding means 2 and panels 5 that can be equipped with the yarn codes thereon. The panel 5 is stationarily or detachably attached to the holding means 2 to provide the information on the yarn codes, and these yarns can pass through the eyes of the needles that are inserted into the needle holding means 2. In the embroidery or crocheter machine, particularly of a large-sized pattern where a variety of yarns are employed, the knitting works can be done accordingly by the method in which a plurality of yarns and needles can be recognized clearly at a glance.
