PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel fixing jig which is capable of fixing a liquid crystal panel to a prescribed position simply and surely at the time of a manufacturing and also does not generate defective products at the time of transporting liquid crystal panels. SOLUTION: In a work process adhering an optical element 3 to a liquid crystal panel 1, at first, the panel 1 is placed on a main base 6 and it is fixed on the base 6 by using clamping mechanisms 7 and fixing pins 8. A liquid crystal panel fixing jig 5 on which the panel 1 is loaded in this manner is positioned to the stage of an optical element adhering device with positioning holes 10 to be mounted on the optical element adhering device.
