PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and reagent for immunologically determining lipoprotein (a) in a sample capable of accurately and simply obtaining the true concentration of the lipoprotein (a) regardless of the type of the phenotype of the lipoprotein (a) in the sample. SOLUTION: In a method and reagent for immunologically determining lipoprotein (a) in a sample, only antibodies that are specifically combined with the type 5, type 6, type 7, type 8, type 9, or type 10 of kringle 4-like domain, kringle 5-like domain, or protease-like domain of aplipoprotein (a) and that are not combined with the type 2 of the kringle 4-like domain of aplipoprotein (a) are used as the antibodies to be combined with lipoprotein (a). It is possible to solve the problem that determined values fluctuate due to the types of the phenotype of lipoprotein (a) in a sample to cause errors.
