PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation process of a thermoplastic elastomer composition having superior mechanical properties. SOLUTION: In a preparation process of a partially or completely dynamically crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising (A) a crosslinkable elastomer and (B) a thermoplastic resin, using a melt extruder, dynamic crosslinking is carried out through melt-kneading at a degree of mixing M defined as below. M=(π2/2)(L/D)D3(N/Q). 10×106<=M<=1000×106. Here, L: length (mm) of the extruder in the die direction considering the material adding part as the base point, D: inner diameter (mm) of the extruder barrel, Q: discharge rate (kg/h), and N: screw revolution speed (rpm).
