PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intelligibly inform a user of a focusing state by in easy to understand manner providing a selection means for selecting a point for performing focusing among plural points and a display means for performing display showing the point selected by the selection means on the outside of a finder screen. SOLUTION: A zoom lens 13 is connected to a CPU 10 via a range-finding part 11 and an encoder 12, and a display part 15 is connected to the CPU 10 via a driver 14. Then, SW1 and SW2 are a first release switch and a second release switch, respectively. When the first release switch SW1 is operated and turned on, range finding is performed by the range finding part 11 through the CPU 10, and the point to perform focusing is selected from among plural points by the CPU 10. The display showing the point selected by the CPU 10 is performed on the outside of the finder screen by the display part 15 via the driver 14, and the user is informed of the focusing state by the display. |
