PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease manhour in a mixing operation and the set-up time therefore, to decrease the variety of mixing compositions to be managed and stored, to efficiently accommodate the fluctuation of physical properties of the mixing materials and to prevent the increase of equipment costs. SOLUTION: A kneading process of rubber compositions comprises a semimanufactures-kneading step and a manufactures-kneading step wherein a vulcanizing agent is added. Here, the semimanufactures-kneading is carried out by selecting the kind and the amount of skeletal mixing compositions from several kinds of skeletal mixing compositions previously prepared in semimanufactured states, which correspond to mutually different rubber characteristics, according to the required rubber characteristics.
