RESIN-COATED SLIDE MEMBER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated slide member having lubricating performance with the friction resistance equal to a conventional one and low frictional property, considering the environment without using Pb that is a lubricating component, and also provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This resin-coated slide member 20 is provided with a porous metal sintered layer 22 of bronze formed on a back plate and a surface resin layer 23 formed in the state where it is partially impregnated in the metal sintered layer. The surface resin layer 23 is formed of 5-30 vol.% of carbon fiber and the remainder of ethylene tetrafluoride resin.
