Use of a safe and effective amount of : (1) a member selected from the group consisting of 2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1,3-bis(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)propan-2-ol also known as fluconazole which has the formula 1, (2) a potentiator like triprolidine, in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for treating viral infections particularly influenza.
