<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce both thickness and weight of a portable electronic equipment by providing a liquid crystal display member containing a polymer secondary battery pack on the back of the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A keyboard 2 is provided on the top surface of a personal computer main body 1, and a reflective polysilicone liquid crystal display member 3 is attached to the main body 1 via a hinge mechanism and can be freely opened and closed. The member 3 consists of a frame 5, a liquid crystal display part 6 arranged on the front face included in the frame 5 and a polymer secondary battery pack 8 which is attached onto the back included in the frame 5 via a support member 7 and functions as a drive source of the part 6. It's desirable for the pack 8 to have a size smaller than the member 3 together with the thickness of 0.5-5 mm and the weight energy density of >=100 Wh/kg respectively. As a result, a power storing base can be reduced, thinned and also lightened.</p> |
