<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radar apparatus which can judge whether an object to be detected on its own lane is a ghost or not. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle radar apparatus is provided with a radar-beam scanning means by which a radar beam can be scanned nearly in parallel with a road surface on which a vehicle is running, and an object detection means by which an object within a radar-beam scanning image is detected whenever a radar-beam scanning operation is performed once or more than two times by the radar-beam scanning means. By the object detection means, whether a first object to be detected as an object to be detected on its own lane inside the road surface is a ghost or not is judged on the basis of a second object to be detected, as an object to be detected on a lane adjacent to its own lane.</p> |
