PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multi-optical-axis photoelectric switch which prevents the size and cost from increasing and facilitates optical-axis adjusting operation without lowering the reliability. SOLUTION: The arrangement interval between a projector 1 and a photodetector 4 and the arrangement interval between each projecting element 2 and each photodetecting element 5 are so set that an arbitrary photodetecting element 5 can receive even beams of light of projecting elements vertically adjacent to the corresponding projecting element 2. An auxiliary device 11 for optical axis adjustment holds states wherein the beams of light projected by the projecting elements 2a (2x), 2b (2y), and 2c (2z) is received by the photodetecting element 5b (5y) by latch circuits 12a (12x), 12b (12y), and 12c (12z) and turns on pilot lamps 13a (13x), 13b (13y), and 13c (13z) of a display part 14U (14D) according to those states.
