PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply form a three-dimensional(3D) optical waveguide element, a branch type optical waveguide element, etc. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device is provided with a 1st laser beam source 29 for emitting laser beam C to be a trigger for oscillating a phase conjugate light B, a pair of phase conjugate mirrors 22, 34, 2nd laser beam sources 21, 33 for emitting laser beams A, D for oscillating the phase conjugate light B by exciting a laser beam made incident upon the phase conjugate mirrors 22, 34, a plate 24 having aperture parts for converging the phase conjugate light B and irradiating photosetting resin with the converged light B to form a core part of the optical waveguide, and an optical fiber 28. In this case, a case 26 for the device is filled with the 1st photosetting resin, the resin is cured by the light B to form the core part of the optical waveguide. Then the case 26 is preferably filled with 2nd photosetting resin whose refractive index is lower than that of the 1st photosetting resin and the 2nd resin is cured to form a clad part of the optical waveguide. |
